What is a Eulogy?
A Eulogy is a formal expression of praise for someone who has recently passed away, and takes place during the Celebration of Life service.
What is a Celebrant?
A Celebrant is a person who performs a ceremony.
What do I do?
As a professional Celebrant, I conduct the Eulogy. My personalized eulogies reflect the deceased’s beliefs, philosophy of life and personality.
Those chosen to give a Eulogy at a funeral are usually those most closest to the deceased, because of the relationship shared between them. These individuals are also the most saddened.
A spouse, child, sibling, or friend, may have expressions of love and endearment for their loved one to be shared with others. Perhaps a humorous story or two...However, most often they are too emotionally weakened to speak to a crowd.
As a Celebrant and public speaker, I will share these stories and memories with the guests, creating a personalized eulogy that reflects the character and life of the deceased.
The bereaved will be free of any anticipated stress and anxiety of having to address a group, thus allowing them to enjoy the remembrance of their loved one.

Our beloved departed want us to remember them in tears of Joy! They want us to celebrate their Life!

I recently officiated a Celebration of Life ceremony for Louis Alioto, the beloved husband of my friend Linda. This was emotionally challenging for me because I also officiated their wedding ceremony in May 2017. I spoke on behalf of Linda, and she and others also spoke. So many wonderful things said about Louis; lots of laughs (and tears!). A wonderful lunch followed. The event was flawless, and my sweet friend Linda was comforted by so many.
"Marie… your professional advice and preparation for the event went far beyond what I could’ve imagined. You were the reason it was such a success. I love you for honoring his life so beautifully. Thank you again from the bottom of my broken heart". ~ Linda

I spoke on behalf of Howard's coworkers, and myself, at his Memorial Service. Howard was a retired US Navy Veteran, and had a buriel with honors at Barrancas National Cemetary. It was such an honor for me to do this for his family. Howard was a good friend of mine and I miss him dearly.

It was my honor to Officiate the Celebration of Life service for Lou York, Sr. Family and friends gathered to reflect on his life and pay tribute to a wonderful man. As a Destin Florida Eulogy Speaker, I spoke on behalf of several family members, which made it easier for them to enjoy the service. It was a beautiful testimonial!

I Officiated a Celebration of Life for Kimberly Williamson, who would have been 60 years old on that day. Kim always said her favorite place on the planet is the beach here in Destin. This is where she met a group of people from different states that became her friends for life.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate this wonderful woman who was clearly loved by so many. A few guests spoke of their memories; poems, prayers and a shell toss were incorporated. And the most stunning sunset...all for Kim.

Our animals deserve to be remembered with honor. I conducted the most loving Eulogy Service for this beautiful little pup...his name is Rod Stewart. His momma/owner was moved and touched by my words of praise and tribute. RIP Rod, and thank you for all the joy you brought to so many.

I created a beautiful Memorial Service for sweet Niko. He was my friends dog, but I was very close to him. My service provided comfort and closure to his owners.
