I Officiated the most beautiful Miramar Beach commitment ceremony for Joe and Debi. Incorporating
Scripture, blessing of the rings
and a closing prayer.
It was romantic and loving,
as seen in the way Joe is
looking at her....

I Officiated a double vow renewal for Frank, Cherie, Dave and Dawn on the patio of their Destin vacation rental. It was a beautiful day! Celebrating 40 years of marriage each, it was a wonderful way to celebrate their love.
I united John & Lu in marriage during a simple sunset ceremony with a few friends in attendance. So much love between them!!!
LOVE CONQUERS ALL! Shona & Alan were faced with a last minute weather relocation, the noise of a neighbor’s power tool, thunder & sprinkles.. they didn’t care because THEY GOT MARRIED! ! I united them in marriage with a great group of family & friends to witness.
Isabella, from Columbia, married Sean, from Canada, during an intimate ceremony with their family. Their long distance relationship is over!

Throughout their time together, Paola's & Christopher's friendship has flourished, their love grown, & they have truly become each other’s best friend. They can say with certainty that God has brought them to this joyous moment. Another loving ceremony Officiated under the beautiful Eden Gardens State Park Wedding Tree.

Ivette & Jesus had a WOW wedding at Watervue at Brooks Street. I incorporated acknowledgements, scripture, blessing and a sand unity. Blythe Eland Photography captured all the love!

Daniel told me Bridget was so thrilled with my Officiant service at their June 2013 wedding that having me Officiate his surprise 5 year Vow Renewal would just make the surprise even better. We had a wonderful intimate celebration, renewing promises and commitments. "Thank you Marie, for your attention to detail and last minute accommodations!" ~ Daniel

Kerry & Jamie Griffin celebrated 15 years of wedded bliss with a beautiful Dune Allen Beach Vow Renewal Ceremony.

Karen and Billy are high school sweethearts. They married within a year of graduating, had 2 daughters and now 5 grandchildren. They love the beach and still hold each other's hand when walking.  I Officiated their Panama City Beach Vow Renewal Ceremony celebrating 30 years of love and family.

Courtney & Marcus had the most beautiful Henderson Beach State Park wedding ceremony, surrounded by family, friends & dolphins! They created their own vows, while I incorporated Scripture & a Blessing. Her veil stayed on her face during the ceremony until it came time for "the kiss". So romantic!
Teri's Aunt Natalie prayed for her to find a strong and gentle man. Well, her prayers were answered. Jeff is not only strong and gentle, he is THE ONE - the kind of man Teri had given up on having in her life. Congrats to my 1st lovebirds of 2018! Photo: Vera Hogenson Photography

After many years of a long distance relationship, Chayse and Maurice are so excited to finally live and be together! Their Navarre Wedding Ceremony was shared with family and friends who witnessed their true love as I told their story. Photo: Snapshot Blessings.

Kesha & Cory celebrated 10 years of marriage as I Officiated their Destin Vow Renewal Ceremony. Scripture, Family Blessing and a Shell Toss with the guests made this ceremony very special. Their children Jayden & Mylah just loved being part of it. Kesha & Cory gave each other gifts; it was so heartfelt!
After a 5 hour first date, Erica & Stephen both knew they were meant for each other! I Officiated their big beautiful Destin Bay House wedding, celebrating their love with a personalized ceremony, bringing in laughter and pure romance.

Although both from Germany, Anne and Andreas met while working together in AL, where they spent much time together on our beautiful Gulf Coast. They returned to Germany, only to realize they are meant to be together. When they decided to tie the knot, they chose our beautiful Destin beach as their altar. And ME as their Officiant! I loved listening to them read 1st Corinthians in German together... Herzliche Glückwünsche Anne & Andreas! - Photo: Michelle Castle Photography

In less than 3 days I put together a ceremony warmer than this hot July afternoon. Melissa & Terry, married under the Wedding Tree at Eden Gardens State Park. Photos: Mari Darr Welch.
I Officiated Karen & Toby's 25 year Henderson Beach State Park Vow Renewal Ceremony with their children & grandchildren in attendance. Their marriage is based on love of family, trust, honor and faith in God. Toby is not only Karen's love of her life, he is her best friend. And Toby considers it a true blessing to marry the love of his life twice in a lifetime.

Nothing like saying "I Do" under the moonlight...on the dock of the bay. Congrats Linda & Louis! What a loving, romantic ceremony.
Carolyn & JD were my first clients who asked ME to be part of their Sand Unity Ceremony! Wow was I touched! I Officiated their Henderson Beach State Park Elopement Ceremony with Mari Darr Welch Photography capturing the tears, laughs, kisses and sunset. They met 20 years ago, dated, went separate ways and were reunited by God in His time.
Adrian knew, from the moment he saw her, that Yvonne would someday be his wife. Acknowledgements, Scripture & a Blessing made this December wedding extraordinary. Photo: http://snapshotblessings.weebly.com

For my lovebirds coming to the area for your wedding, check out this article...lots of things to experience before and after the wedding!

Kenzie and Scott did not have the best wedding day 4 years ago, so I created

a vow renewal ceremony that brought meaning to their marriage. My purpose was to solidify their growth, love and commitment for each other and to little Addie. “Marie, we finally have a true, happy memory to look back on thanks

to you and Noelle. Thank you again, so much”.  ~ Always great creating s

pecial moments with Noelle Willis of Capture Destiny Photos

Cora and Patrick's ceremony involved a Family Blending, Vows to the children, Handfasting, Scripture and much more including a bagpiper!! I really enjoyed Officiating this Eden Gardens State Park wedding!

Congrats to KaShaundra and Darren! I officiated their Sandestin wedding ceremony with their family in attendance. It was a short, sweet and meaningful ceremony, which was a good thing because it was about 105 degrees that day!!!! Mari Darr Welch Modern Photojournalist did her usual outstanding job with photos.

Payton and Ben had a spectacular Gulf Island National Seashore wedding. The temperature was perfect and the sunset even better. A simple exchange of vows, lots of love, and family and friends to celebrate with them.

Daniel and Julie had an outside venue reserved for their big day. However, Mother Nature had other plans. Plan B came into place and I must say, I think it was even prettier than their reserved venue. This intimate Seagrove Beach wedding ceremony took place on the covered porch of their vacation rental home and it was just perfect!
Daniel and Julie incorporated a Unity Candle; I brought in acknowledgements and a blessing. Daniel was so great to work with through the planning process and I can see why he fell in love with Julie. Isn't she gorgeous?!!
"Marie, thanks so much for such an incredible ceremony. People commented so many great things about you".
Lovely photos by Ashley Kohls Photography
Anahi and Danny surprised their guests with...A WEDDING! Yep! Everyone thought it was a photo session, and when Anahi came walking down in her dress and I make the announcement, they were joyfully surprised.
The couple praised their children, saying without them their union would not be possible. They wrote their own vows, and I included my Family Blessing. What a beautiful Grayton Beach State Park wedding!

I Officiated the Miramar Beach wedding of Nicole and Joe at a private home on the bay. What a beautiful backdrop! They are the best of friends and very supportive of each other. Their interaction was easy and loving. I incorporated my personal blessing and acknowledgments, including their dog!!! These lovebirds were just so happy to be married to each other and I was so happy to be the one to do it!

Teresa and Richard eloped on the most beautiful February afternoon to enjoy not only our famous Destin sunset, but also a "toes in the sand dinner for two" on the beach at one of our lovely restaurants. I Officiated this romantic wedding incorporating their own vows and readings. Just love Teresa's dress!

Photos: Julie Marie White Photography

Kelcie and Brandon exchanged vows in front of family and friends at their Miramar Beach vacation rental home. Acknowledgement of parents, Scripture and a Sand Unity Ceremony enhanced my personalized ceremony. It was quite chilly on this February day but their LOVE kept us warm! And they managed to say "I Do" right before the raindrops! So wonderful working with Rebecca of Daly Photography, it had been awhile.
Nov. 28, 2020 ~ I had a wonderful Thanksgiving....and yes, I worked! I Officiated an elopement...so thankful for the opportunity to create a new memory for such a sweet couple. Lots of engagements happen on Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I expect my inbox to be filling up soon! Although it's been a challenging year, I count my blessings; I've had many. Looking forward to spreading the love over the Christmas Season!

I am beyond excited to be featured in the February 2018 issue of Emerald Coast Magazine. What a wonderful job Hannah Burke did in putting together this article on Beach Vow Renewal Ceremonies. I am truly honored and humbled that I was chosen to be interviewed for the article, which touches on my Officiant service and wonderful experiences I have had in being a part of so many couple's lives. I am so proud to live here in this beautiful Destin FL area, where people come from all over the world to say  "I Do"...and then "I Do Again" years later!

Ashley and Joe are a story. A story of redemption. A story of hope. A story of love. They adore one another and are honored to walk in life together. Their Boathouse Watercolor wedding consisted of a Unity Candle, Scripture, a poem, and my blessing. Ashley surprised Joe with new paddleboards, and they sported them after the ceremony. I didn't stay for the reception but judging by the photos, the food and fun were quite remarkable! It was great working with Aislinn of Aislinn Kate Photography...we go WAAYY back.

Brennen fell in love with a humble man, who is hard working, a wonderful father who is devoted to the children. He is her true life partner. Scott knows he is the luckiest man in  the world. Brennen makes him be the best man he could be. She is his joy, his calm, the love of his life. I united them in marriage on the balcony of their vacation rental in the presence of friends. A Scripture and Blessing was part of their personalized ceremony. I think they make the most adorable couple!
I helphed Taylor and Natalie through the whole process, offering guidance and suggestions for location and vendors. To me, an elopement is just as special as a big wedding.
I Officiated their Henderson Beach State Park elopement ceremony on a warm afternoon with the most amazing Gulf of Mexico as their backdrop. Island Sands Beach Weddings set up the perfect arbor and Amanda Ward Photography got it all on film. Did I tell you my couples JUMP FOR JOY???
Gary contacted me back in May to help him organize a surprise vow renewal for his wife of 35 years, Patti. The ceremony took place on the beach of their Destin condo on a gorgeous August evening. Patti had NO CLUE. Gary bought her a new ring and "proposed" on his knees. After communicating with Gary for a few months it was so nice to finally meet him and his wonderful family! I gave them a beautiful ceremony, celebrating 35 years of marriage. I will admit...the highlight for me was the HUGS from little Colt and Ally :).

I really DO care about my couples and have their back for everything! When I arrived at the scheduled ceremony location, I saw it was very crowded with limited parking. I called Mary and suggested another place. She and Brandon were so appreciative of my experience and advice.
I Officiated their ceremony incorporating acknowledgement of family and a blessing. They vowed, they prayed, and they DANCED!
Irina Nikole Photography got it all for the memories book.
Look at this beautiful blended family! I Officiated the Henderson Beach State Park wedding of Julie and Jared on a beautiful early July evening as Carrie Alves Photography captured the moments. "Bringing a blended family together will not always be perfect, but as your parents we will always do our best to provide you with a home full of love, laughter, and dreams." ~ Just one of several beautiful things said to the kids during this very special occasion.
Jeff fell in love with a woman who is caring, affectionate, selfless and genuine. Aly fell in love with Jeff's sense of humor, his role as a dad, and how he has influenced her personal growth. Communication, trust and commitment is their shared bond of strength. They said their own vows to each other and my Blessing made their personalized ceremony a memory they will treasure. What a beautiful beach elopement on a warm March evening!

Photo: Tonya Damron Photography
I Officiated the wedding of Alex & Braden on a beautiful March afternoon at the Destin Bay House incorporating a blessing with the parents and Scripture. The way they looked at each other...OMG...talk about "feelin' the love"! I wish this handsome couple much love!

Congrats to my final 2019 lovebirds Nathaly & Jhonathan! I united them in marriage on December 30th, with their family joining in the love! I did not have much time to prepare for this one, but still made it as personal and meaningful as I could. Nathaly's text message this morning warmed my heart: "Marie, you have an amazing personality, very professional and classy. I'm glad that you married us!".  ~ Wow what a wonderful way for me to end my year! I love my job!
This was a 1st for me.. I Officiated a wedding at Destin's own Gulfarium! It was so cool to unite Kasey & Jesse in marriage while the fish watched us! What a great way to say "I Do"!
Kasey and Jesse are each other's everything. Best friends and soul mates who love each other unconditionally. They created their own vows, and took part in a family sand unity with their son Jesse. (See the "More Photos" page).
Big Thanks to Chuck Lawson Wedding & Event Music who sent this lovely couple my way. Chuck's tropical steel drum music was perfect for the setting. Always great working with him.
Lacey Photography outdid herself with a gazillion photos; it was so nice meeting and working with her!
My dear friends Sondra and John...I was so honored to Officiate their beautiful, loving wedding ceremony. I know them both for many years now, and when they asked me to be the one to unite them in marriage, I was overjoyed!

All John ever wanted was to have someone to love him the way he needed to be loved. He found that with Sondra. They take care of each other, offering support, love, comfort, and friendship.

They were joined by a large group of family and friends, all there to show their love and congrats to this couple, loved by so many.

A Sand Unity Ceremony and my personalized script and Blessing made for a newly created memory for them.

So honored to Officiate the 50 Year Henderson Beach State Park Vow Renewal Ceremony of Gayle and Tim. My Family Blessing, Shell Toss and Scripture made this already meaningful ceremony even more! This Golden Anniversary was celebrated with their loving family.

Carrie & Patrick celebrated 18 years of marriage by honoring their sons and each other during a beautiful Grayton Beach State Park sunset vow renewal ceremony. Carrie promised to continue putting her family first and being a good wife and mother. Patrick promised to continue to commit his life to Carrie and their sons, as he considers his vows to be not "promises" but "privileges".

Lara and Trent have a very close relationship and realistic expectations of each other and marriage. They are best friends who balance each other and keep the laughter going. A Grayton Beach State Park Vow Renewal Ceremony with their daughter Tori, and friends, while here on vacation seemed like the perfect time to celebrate their love. And it WAS! Lara's dress complimented her beautiful figure. Isn't she just gorgeous? I wish this sweet couple a lifetime of love always!

Tammy & Paul met in God’s time. She welcomed the relationship with open arms. Paul had given up on love until he met Tammy. They balance each other; Tammy brings excitement to Paul’s world, and Paul brings calmness to hers. I could go on and on about this TRULY PERFECT MATCH….

I Officiated their Santa Rosa Beach elopement ceremony on the balcony of their condo, incorporating Scripture and a Blessing into their personalized ceremony. Tears of joy and emotion flowed. Champagne and cake topped off the celebration before they headed to the beach for more photos with Noelle of Capture Destiny Photos

Sandy and Grant celebrated 10 years of marriage with a beautiful Miramar Beach Vow Renewal Ceremony. A few Biblical verses were included, as well as my personalized blessing. We had a lot of laughs during this ceremony, it was a lot of fun, and also very romantic and meaningful. Isn't Sandy just soooo cute? What a great couple!

I Officiated Pam & Bob's wedding ceremony during a beautiful sunset. It was their dream wedding. Not only did they fall in love with each other, they fell in love with Destin. They have even since bought property here!
Chuck Lawson Wedding and Event Music provided music for their ceremony and reception, and Just Think Cake made one of the prettiest cakes I've ever seen!
Pam and Bob have become personal good friends of mine, and we always make time to be together when they come to Destin. I wish them a lifetime of happiness and all good things

Photos: Michael K Photography

Michael and Ashlyn have been in love since they first met. When he kissed her for the first time, he did a "happy dance"! Of course...no one was watching! Ashlyn gives Michael the drive to succeed, and he has always made her feel perfect just the way she is. Marriage will only solidify their strong bond as they build a future together. I Officiated their Eden Gardens State Park wedding under the famous Wedding Tree. Kayla Law Photography captured the love! ~ "Marie, we both want to say thank you so much for giving us such a beautiful ceremony. It was personable and our family loved it! -Ashlyn
To my past and future lovebirds~

Thank you for choosing ME to Officiate your ceremony! You all enrich my life and I am beyond blessed to create a memory for you.

I wish you much love and joy in 2019. Live your vows! ~ Marie

For Taylor and Haile, the conversations were easy, right from the beginning. They support each other’s personal and professional endeavors, offering comfort and compromise. Always honest with each other, care and respect comes naturally. They know each other so well that they can help the other find balance. They are a team.

I Officiated their Destin Bay House wedding, incorporating personalization and a sand unity ceremony. To say they had a magnificent sunset is an understatement, as you can see. All captured perfectly by Brett Birdsong Photography.
I Officiated the Henderson Beach State Park wedding of Patricia and Ken while Carrie Alves Photography captured the magic, and of course the stunning sunset! These lovebirds smiled and laughed during the whole ceremony. Tears of joy and emotion got the best of all of us LOL! They are each other's soulmate and appreciate their blessings from God. Scripture, my Blessing and family acknowledgement made this elopement a very special celebration of their love!
One of the best things about my job is I get to hear my couple's stories; some of them are so profound. Gina had prayed for the Lord's will in her life to find her mate. Randy, after suffering through loss and sadness, never thought he would love again. They were joined together by God, and he spirit of a beautiful woman whom they both had the honor of knowing.
I Officiated their simple ceremony in the company of a few friends, and a romantic sunset on the bay.

Yolanda and Deon had a beautiful late September Destin wedding at the magnificent Palazzo Del Sol beach house. I was honored to Officiate their wedding, which consisted of acknowledgements, Scripture, a Blessing, a Sand Unity ceremony and Shell Toss. Loving the colors of the flowers and the bridal party! The day was gorgeous and all captured perfectly by the amazing Carrie Alves Photography!

Amy and Donald celebrated their 10 year wedding anniversary with a beautiful Fort Walton Beach Vow Renewal. I conducted the ceremony with family and friends in attendance on the dock of Giovanni'sOne89 restaurant.
High school sweethearts, they grew up together and not apart. Don and Amy communicate well, they balance each other, and enjoy being parents to Miley and Brendan. Their advice to their children: "Find your best friend, fall in love with them, and roll with the punches".
Amy and Donald look forward to incorporating some "date" time together, just relaxing and learning each other all over again.
BIG THANKS to Donald for his US Military Service!

Caroline & Billy had the most romantic and intimate ceremony at their little beach cottage. I Officiated their Seaside wedding ceremony on the porch overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. They recited their own readings and blessings..it was so touching, and I loved their involvement.
It was wonderful working with Aislinn Kate Photography; she is one of the 1st photographers I worked with when I began Officiating.

When my friend and former Jersey girl (like me) told me she met "a wonderful man”, my heart smiled. When she asked if I would Officiate her wedding, my heart did cartwheels! It was a true honor for me to wed Robin & Del. Their beach ceremony consisted of Scripture, my personalized Blessing, a shell toss and lots of my extra LOVE! I'm so happy for them both! And, of course, it’s always an honor to work alongside the amazing Mari-Darr Welch Modern Photojournalist who captured their joy perfectly!

Astrid and Martin...just look at this classy couple...Martin contacted me with lots of questions, I could tell he wanted his bride to have the PERFECT elopement. He did a great job, Astrid just smiled the whole time :) I Officiated their Eden Gardens State Park wedding while trying to keep a dry eye during their very romantic vows. WOW to Larry Kirk Photography! BIG THANKS to Martin for his US Military Service!
My lovebirds Betsy & Mike..what a sweet couple! I incorporated acknowledgements of parents and children, and a sand unity ceremony made it extra special. Chuck Lawson Wedding & Event Music provided the ceremony and reception entertainment, all held at The Inn at Crystal Beach/790 on The Gulf. First time working with Dylan Carney Photography..just loving these photos!
Unfortunately the stress of life lead to us becoming more distant than ever, and forgetting to hold hands and remind each other of our love. We were blessed with our son on May 8, 2014. While at the hospital soon after giving birth my wife noticed a large lump on her neck. After months and months of tests, lab work, etc... it was determined to be thyroid cancer. This lead to several surgeries and several radiation treatments for the couple of years to follow. She's now healthy again.  However, during that same time I was driving 3 hours to work... staying away in a hotel for 2-4 days per week, and driving 3 hours back home so that we had insurance to cover all the bills. On the heels of that my business started to take off. In 2012 I only had 2 counties as customers, then in 2014 I had 20+ counties, and now I have 110 counties across the country... it grew so quickly that my time requirement lead to many days on the road, and 16-18 hours of working on the days I was home. In short, over the past several months my wife felt very lonely and started texting with someone else and created an emotional attachment........
Though this was a very difficult time for us to get through, we are working on it. We both realize what lead to the void and have promised to work on understanding each other more, being more patient, improve our communication, etc.

I recently had the honor and pleasure of Officiating a wedding for “one of my own” - my friend and colleague - the awesome photographer, Vera of Vera Hogenson Photography. I have worked alongside Vera for many years, it brings me joy to see her so happy, and married to her wonderful husband Brett. BIG THANKS for his US Military Service! I had to hold back my own tears watching this beautiful woman walk down the aisle! It was also great working with Chuck Lawson Wedding and Event Music, who provided the perfect soundtrack to this celebration of love and family!

Winter beach weddings in the Destin area can be quite challenging, as it can be very chilly here. However, it was a warm beautiful day on Feb.10, 2018, so Lina and Mario got to have their Grayton Beach State Park wedding ceremony on the beach, as they had hoped for. I Officated their ceremony with family and friends in attendance, and incorporated acknowldegments and my personalized Military Blessing. They gave me a 5 Star Wedding Wire review! BIG THANKS to Mario for his US Military service.

Monica, a resident of Italy, and Paul, a resident of Alabama, met on the slopes of Mt. Etna many years ago. Their trans-atlantic courtship over the years formed a strong & loving bond. Both loving the Emerald Coast, they decided to have me Officiate their Grayton Beach State Park wedding, beginning with a champagne toast! Their sand unity ceremony appropriately blended our white sand with the tan sand from Puglia. Congratulazioni! ~ A few lovely photos by Vera Hogenson, Photographer.

Rachel and Adam chose to do a little something different for their wedding. I Officiated their ceremony inside the beautiful Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, and they went to the beach afterwards for sunset photos. Their parents were the only people in attendance. Their personalized ceremony consisted of a Scripture reading, Blessing and acknowledgement of parents. My first time working with Live Free Photography, who were just great and did a beautiful job with the photos.
Nancy has always been Jack's dream girl; ever since they met in college 31 years ago. They never dated in school, had separate lives, and found each other again a few years ago.

Nancy has learned that real love does exist and that she is worthy of it. Jack makes her feel perfect and beautiful. They celebrated their love with family and friends in attendance during a beautiful October Destin wedding ceremony. Isn't Nancy just so cute?

I had fun creating my script for this lovely couple as they incorporated two Apache Blessings, a Celtic Handfasting Ceremony, Lighting of a Candle and a Christian Marriage Blessing. This private elopement took place at Eden Gardens State Park under the infamous Wedding Tree. I had the honor of helping my bride get into her dress, I just love moments like that! Jon Hauge Photography and I worked together to create the best angles and placement for the perfect photos.
Chastity and Russ met because of their personal concerns of other beings in their lives. Their selflessness was awarded in their chance meeting.  With an admiration for each other, and zest for life, these two will always be strong and happy. Russ surprised his bride with an "extra" wedding band, just one of many ways he lets her know how much he loves her. Loving these colors by Carrie Alves Photography. Another beautiful sunset wedding at Henderson Beach State Park in Destin.

It’s always my pleasure to work with Mari Darr-Welch, but when this top-notch renowned super pro photographer asked me to Officiate her daughter’s wedding, I was truly honored. (And nervous! Geez, how was I to live up to Mari's expectations?)

Her daughter Alexis is as sweet as she is beautiful; and was a true joy to get to know during the planning process. The threat of Hurricane Irma caused a bit of anxiety for everyone, so I delivered a very relaxing and calming environment during my ceremony. Alexis and Jacob were blessed with a beautiful afternoon, surrounded by so many kind people sharing in their joy.

It was also a pleasure to work alongside Carrie Alves Photography – another outstanding photographer - who captured their love perfectly. I wish Alexis & Jacob all good things and lots of love!

From the moment Jordan met Sarah, he knew she was the one. She is the missing piece that makes him whole. Their personalized ceremony consisted of my Blessing and a Love Lock Ceremony. This was the 2nd wedding to take place on the Nature Trail of Henderson Beach State Park, and I am proud to say I Officiated it, as well as the first one!

Daria and Sosimo celebrated 10 years of wedded bliss with a Henderson Beach State Park Vow Renewal Ceremony. My personalized blessing and a sand unity ceremony brought out extra emotion for this "still madly in love" couple.
Annlyzang Events provided the beautiful arbor and Phantom Motion Films captured the love!

Another memorable ceremony to take place inside a beautiful vacation rental condo. I Officiated the Destin wedding of Bessie and Lee with their family and close friends in attendance.

Loved working with the one and only Chuck Lawson Wedding and Event Music who provided his beautiful voice and live music.

Susan surprised her husband Jason with a 10 Year Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal Ceremony. He surprised her with an Anniversary Ring. As you can see in the top left photo, I was surprised as well when he slipped it on her finger! Their daughter Skylar took part in the ceremony by reading First Corinthians. (What a cutie!) This Vow Renewal was Susan's way of thanking Jason for a lifetime of unmeasurable love and support. Surrounded by family and friends, this was an intimate Grayton Beach beach house ceremony. It was PERFECT!

I Officiated Michelle & Nick’s elopement ceremony at Henderson Beach State Park, working alongside Jon Hauge Photography. This was a special ceremony for Jon & I as we were the vendor team at Michelle’s dad and stepmom’s elopement in July 2015 also at Henderson Beach State Park.

Michelle has excelled in so many areas of her life, because of the support and encouragement she receives from Nick. She is the best thing to ever happen to him, and he will enjoy every moment of the rest of their lives together.

I always go above and beyond to ensure my couples get to have their dream wedding, despite weather challenges. After several attempts under the beautiful Eden Gardens State Park Wedding Tree, the rain won, and we had to move inside to the covered pavillion. I really don't think Vicki and Gene cared where their ceremony was, as long as they got to say their vows to each other in the presence of their loved ones and doggies! So loving and romantic, this was a beautiful wedding. Vickie waited a lifetime for true love, and for Gene..AT LAST, his love has come along.

I Officiated the WaterColor Elopement Wedding Ceremony of Molly and Jason at the beautiful Cerulean Park. What a great place for a small wedding!

I incorporated Scripture verses and a Blessing while Jason surprised his bride with a few intimate vows of his own. Amy Little Photography took photos of them at the Inn, the beach, Cerulean property...so many to choose from! Congrats Molly and Jason you had a beautiful wedding!
Love this shot of my Blessing upon Hilary & Chris at their Eden Gardens State Park Wedding Ceremony. Having known each other since middle school, their relationship is one of support and encouragement of each other. They are better people because of each other's influence and love. I Officiated their ceremony under the Wedding Tree with about 100 attendees. A big, beautiful and colorful wedding!

Photo: Birdsong Photography

Joe knew Heather was a keeper when she obliged to dig a hole for the porto-potty during one of their first dates together. Hey, he had his priorities! LOL! They are a family-oriented couple who pride themselves on being loving and attentive parents to their blended family. I Officiated their wedding at Margaritaville Resort on Pensacola Beach. With about 30 people in attendance, it was just intimate enough for family and friends to join in their celebration. I personalized their ceremony and added in a Shell Toss so everyone could be involved. Chuck Lawson Wedding & Event Music provided his usual outstanding ceremony and reception music, with dancing till the doors closed. Arbor, décor and coordination: Lough Tide Beach Weddings. One of many lovely photos by Shannongraphy.

I was overjoyed when Suzanne, a former coworker, asked me to officiate her daughter's wedding. Katie made a beautiful bride and is just as pretty as her mother.
Katie and Casey share a relationship based on loyalty and friendship. They chose the pool deck of their Watercolor vacation rental home as their ceremony location. Of course, in front of the fireplace. Family and friends witnessed their vows during a warm February afternoon.
Big thanks to Casey for his US Active Duty Military service. And thanks to Suzanne for trusting me to create a memory for her little girl.

I Officiated the wedding of Elizabeth and Matthue with their sweet boys at their side. A chilly day, but the love for each other warmed everyone up. My family blessing, a Sand Unity ceremony and their personal words of love to each other created a special memory for all of them. And yes…they cried. That’s what my ceremonies do – bring out emotions. Photos by the lovely and talented Sonja Revells Photography.

I always thought Karina was a beautiful girl, but to see her walk down the aisle in THAT dress, with THAT smile, just made me tear up! She and Frank exchanged vows, rings and lots of kisses at their Opal Beach Wedding Ceremony with champagne and cake afterwards. Their son Luke Anthony stole the show as ring bearer! I loved Officiating this wedding and creating a new memory for this little family! Tahiry Humrich Photography did a fabulous job capturing all the special moments.

Ever since Jonathan met Rachael he finds himself falling for her more and more everyday. To him, she’s truly beautiful inside and out. I Officiated their Destin Holiday Isle Wedding Ceremony with family and friends gathered in attendance. Their ceremony and reception took place at the beautiful Palazzo Del Sol beach house. Tropical steel drums and DJ party music provided by Chuck Lawson Wedding and Event Music. Lovely photos by Ashley Nichole Photography

Brittany and Shea had the most intimate Destin elopement. I personalized their ceremony reflecting their feelings towards each other and their son, which made it even more romantic. Shea relied on me to help him put it all together; his words of appreciation are found on the "Testimonials" page of this website. Their choice of Jon Hauge Photography was spot on in capturing their very special love.
Mat knew from their very 1st date that Robin was "the one". And Robin feels blessed to have such a thoughtful man in her life! Their Miramar Beach Wedding Ceremony consisted of a personalized ceremony, acknowledgements, Sand Unity, Handfasting, Shell Toss, a Cherokee prayer and a Christian Blessing. All captured beautifully by Irina Nikole Photography. Arbor/Decor by Destin Events and Floral. Location: Hidden Dunes Beach Resort.
Robin and Mat are such a sweet couple and I wish them all the best!
Ya just never know where love will find you. Juli and Bob found it when they bumped into each other at the dumpster! Who knew taking out the trash could be so romantic? HaHa! A simple but meaningful wedding ceremony is all they needed to express their love and commitment to each other. ~ "Marie, I want to thank you again for the fabulous ceremony that you did with Bob and me.  It was absolutely perfect!  We are so thankful that we found you....I would recommend your services to anyone who has the crazy idea to run off to Florida and get married.  :-) Big hugs from us to you, Marie!! - xoxo  Juli and Bob

I was honored to Officiate a wedding for another couple traveling from France. Aurelia and Flavien created their own vows reflecting their life together and feelings for each other. They exchanged bracelets instead of rings, and I personalized their ceremony. And, of course, we had to take a selfie! They were obviously very pleased with my service:

“Marie, we were so happy to find you, as from France with only the internet, it was not an easy thing to do. I felt from your words, and your pictures on your website and Facebook all the joy you were having doing your work and making memorable moments with a lot of care. Getting married with your help was simple. We want to thank you for your attention choosing the place, the moment, for your patience with us and our "complicated trip" and your beautiful words. We felt we were in trust, and that moment will remain in our greatest memories, if not the greatest!

Thank you for everything,” ~ Aurelia & Flavien

Joanna & Gustavo had quite the wedding! Joanna’s daughter Peyton arrived in style with a newly sprained ankle. She then later surprised her mother & Gustavo with sand from Mexico & California for their Sand Unity ceremony. They celebrated Gustavo’s heritage with a Lazo ceremony. Grandmother Louise read Scripture and all the guests participated in a Shell Toss Ceremony. What a fun wedding! I am so happy I was part of it!

Amey and Jim have been through thick and thin and have always been there for each other. Everything has fallen into place for them since they moved here, so it was only fitting that they move on to the next chapter in their lives and what better place to do that then here in Paradise, aka Destin, Florida.

I Officiated their wedding on the grounds of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. I love the foliage; it makes for such a tropical look, and a nice diversion from the usual beach weddings.

An intimate wedding on a warm May morning with family. Peaceful, quiet and romantic.

Tara told me “The love she shares with Eric is one of a kind. Pure and appreciative. Their souls harmonize with one another. They are meant to be”.  I Officiated their  Eden Gardens Wedding Ceremony under the beautiful Wedding Tree in June. Little Madalynn loves her newly created family.

Last week I had the pleasure of Officiating the wedding ceremony of Jeff and Blythe. This was the very first time a wedding took place on the Nature Walk Trail of Henderson Beach State Park, and as you can see, it is quite picturesque. This is the place where Jeff proposed to Blythe, so the location held a special place in their hearts.

Jeff is Blythe's hero, savior and protector. She is his everything. They exchanged vows in the presence of their loved ones before they all celebrated with an intimate dinner afterwards.

Congrats to my lovely couple and BIG THANKS to Jeff for his U.S. Military Service!

If momma’s happy, I’m happy!: ~

“Marie, Thank you for the most special wedding day for my daughter. It was beautiful and you are a beautiful person too! Everything was wonderful.” ~

Maureen’s daughter Kelly was just the cutest, sweetest bride! It was my pleasure to wed Kelly and David, alongside the nicest group of family and friends. I incorporated Scripture and a Sand Unity, which made their ceremony extra special.

Liz adds color to Denis’ life, enriching him emotionally and physically. She loves that Denis never treats life as a chore, but that he embraces it, and that he always starts and ends everyday with a hug. Their Destin Bay House Wedding consisted of a personalized ceremony, family acknowledgements, presentation of a gift to Liz’s daughter Emma, and a Family Sand Unity and Blessing with her as well. Lots of laughs, a few tears of joy, and a complete celebration of love!

Tabatha and Bill's
Miramar Beach Wedding Ceremony included a Sand Unity, Scripture, Family Blessing, Personalization
and Acknowledgements.
Tab's son Cooper gave her
away (how cute!).
Surrounded by the love and
support of family and friends, they had the most loving and
fun ceremony!

I Officiated the double Miramar Beach Vow Renewal ceremony of Kim & Rich (10 years) and Kim’s parents Ann & Jack (55 years).  I personalized each ceremony, which brought out laughs and tears.  A Family Blessing, Champagne toast and romantic dances in the sand made an extraordinary event for this family.

June 8th: Double Vow Renewal Ceremony tonight for Michelle and Frank (25 years),
and their son Gregary and his wife
Randi (10 years). So nice to see a family so close and committed to each other, their marriages and family. What a wonderful memory they have of their
Fort Walton Beach vacation!

Venisha and Derrick love the Destin area, so it was only fitting that an impromptu Beasley Park Vow Renewal Ceremony took place while they were here on vacation. A Family Blessing with their daughter Tianna, their own created vows, a Sand Unity Ceremony and Shell Toss made this Renewal very emotional. I know that God works through me to bring my couples restoration. I am so truly blessed.

Donna and Tim's Rosemary Beach Wedding Ceremony on Valentine's Day was very memorable! They were my 1st couple to serenade each other during their own ceremony! They sang “Evergreen”; the perfect song to symbolize their love and commitment to each other. A Sand Unity ceremony and some extra personalization enhanced this meaningful wedding. Romance, fun and lots of laughs made for many emotional moments.

Ashley & Tom's relationship is filled with love, trust, and acceptance. Together they have a fun-filled, loving relationship that always keeps a smile on their faces. I Officiated their Miramar Beach Wedding Ceremony in November. BIG THANKS to both of them for their US Military Service!

5.0 Wedding Wire Rating & Review: “Marie is AMAZING! She is not only so sweet and kind, but she has the most beautiful, creative, and unique way of describing the love a couple shares. She was so thoughtful and attentive and made our ceremony better than I could ever imagine!"

I Officiated Angie & David’s 30 year Panama City Beach Vow Renewal on a windy, rainy afternoon in October. We brought the ceremony inside their condo and had the most warm, touching (and fun!) ceremony. Love, trust, and respect for each other are the core elements of this successful marriage. Long-time friends Marty and Lynn joined in the celebration, which included Scripture, a Blessing, a Sand Unity Ceremony and of course a Champagne Toast!

Kristen & Brent’s 4 year relationship has always been easy & comfortable. Having sons the same age is a common ground they both share. Their new motto: "Love is better the second time around." Congrats to this newly created family!

Hi Marie,
We just wanted to thank you again for making our ceremony so special.  We
love the way you included our families and made everyone feel a part of the
ceremony! The blessing prayer was one of my favorite parts and will always
be a special memory. It was an incredible moment that I will always cherish.
May God continue to bless you and the work you do,

While Officiating Mary and Rob's Seacrest Beach Vow Renewal Ceremony, Mary's mom Beth surprised Rob with family heirloom cufflinks and Rob surprised Mary with a new wedding band. Roses were also given to Mary's mother and grandmother. Lots of love between this couple & their families! Great working with Chuck Lawson Wedding and Event Music and hearing those steel drums as Mary walked down the aisle. Here's one of many wonderful photos taken by Larry Kirk Photography.

Shortly after they met, Ron and Leslie sat at her kitchen table, talked for 3 hours, and fell in love. Respect, gratitude and a positive influence on each other led them to marriage. I Officiated their Watercolor Resort Wedding at their beach house with their parents and children in attendance. So kind and passionately romantic….love these two!

After over a year of planning, Jenna and Brandon finally had the wedding of their dreams. Acknowledgments of parents and children, a Wine Box Ceremony, and my Military Blessing made this wedding extra meaningful. Jenna gave me a 5.0 Wedding Wire Rating & Review! I give Brandon a 5.0 rating for his US Military Service to our Country. It was my honor to Officiate their Santa Rosa Beach Military Wedding Ceremony.

May 1st: Congratulations to Geraldine and Anthony, my couple from France, who traveled with their family and friends to the U.S. for their destination wedding. I Officiated their Seagrove Beach, FL Wedding Ceremony and was overjoyed to do so. After many months of emails, FaceTime and messages, I felt like I knew them forever. And…they brought me a little gift from France….pasta made in Italy! Can't wait to cook and enjoy it!

April 24th: Had the honor and pleasure of Officiating Louis and Nikki's Fort Walton Beach Wedding Ceremony today. Louis is the son of Sharon & Lou, my wonderful neighbors & friends. It was hard for me to contain my emotions during the ceremony as I consider these folks as "family".

Nikki's post on my Facebook page just made my day: "Marie, we cannot thank you enough for the phenomenal ceremony you officiated for us. You exceeded our expectations in every possible way! The personalization and verbiage were breathtaking. Thank you for being the beginning of the best day of our lives. We love you!"
I Officiated Nicole & Dave's Henderson Beach State Park Wedding Ceremony. Such an appreciative couple; giving thanks to their parents and guests for their support and presence. They created their own vows and I said a special Military Blessing for Dave, who serves our Country. And, as you can see, I really was their "second mom" ~ wiping tears is just part of my job!

I was so happy to Officiate this very touching Okaloosa Island Vow Renewal Ceremony. With the help of his daughter Deanna, Dennis pulled off a surprise for Carol, his wife

of 30 years. This family shared tears of joy as new memories were created. "Marie, Just wanted to drop you a quick note to express my extreme gratitude for a job well done. The ceremony was perfect; Carol can't stop talking about it (which is OK). You created a memory that will last a lifetime for our family. What more can I say; perfection is hard to beat!".

~ Forever grateful, Dennis

I received a Facebook message today from a photographer I recently worked with. This made me feel really good! ~ "I have seen many officiants over the past three years, and I love your ceremony style by far and will recommend you when a bride asks! Some officiants never pray or mention the Lord in a ceremony. They make for very cold and quick ceremonies. Your ceremonies are very ordered, warm, and personalized. I just wanted to let you know that of your contemporaries, you are the best I've seen:)"
On 11/28/13, Thanksgiving Day, I Officiated the 50th Wedding Anniversary Vow Renewal Ceremony of Annie & Hal, who were married on 11/28/63, also on Thanksgiving Day that year.
I just knew from the emails and photos sent to me by Annie that they were a special couple. Surrounded by close family and friends in a beautiful beach house in Destin, I unfolded their lives and history together. As they recited their Renewed Vows of Marriage, there was not a dry eye in the room. Thank God for Kleenex!
It was my pleasure to create a new memory for this lovely couple. I am thankful on this Thanksgiving Day to have had this amazing experience.
